We are busy preparing for our upcoming Remembrance Day assembly which we will be putting on for the school, along with the Grade 6 class. All parents and grandparents are invited to attend our assembly. It will take place on November 9th at 10:40 am.

Je Vous Salue Marie
We are learning to pray the Rosary in preparation of our Living Rosary next week. Every day we finish our school day by saying the Hail Mary. This year, our teacher taught us how to say it en francais!

Pumpkin Patch
On October 3rd our class took a trip to the Willowbrook Farms pumpkin patch. The sun was shining and the pumpkins were beautiful! We saw lots of animals including baby chicks that were only one day old! We learned all about how apples are grown and harvested and even got to take an apple back with us to enjoy at the school. They were delicious! We were brought on a hayride to a pumpkin patch on the far side of the farm where we got to pick out our perfect pumpkin to take home! It was such a fun field trip.
Food Chains
In Science we are learning all about different types of Ecosystems. We learned that the Food Chain is made up of Secondary Consumers, Primary Consumers, Producers, and Decomposers. We had fun creating these creative Food Chains.

Our first Reading Power is the power of Visualizing. We have visualized so many beautiful scenes, funny characters, and interesting objects. Listen to us practice our Visualizing chant!
Terry Fox Run
The Grade 3 class ran so hard in our Terry Fox run. Together we ran 246 laps.
